It's my pleasance to nowadays a collaboration with The Brewer'due south Art. A Baltimore establishment that helped to pioneer the Belgian beer movement in the States. Brewed with a combination of Spelt & Rye, accented with a blend of Heather, Honeysuckle, and Hyssop. The result is a rustic farmhouse ale displaying earthy tones & floral characteristics while maintaining intricate residue. Read Less

Breweries based in Baltimore City and County will soon work together to produce a beer for Baltimore Beer Calendar week 2014. On Fri, September 12th at 10:00 am, brewers from Heavy Seas Beer, DuClaw Brewing Company, Marriage Craft Brewing, Red Brick Station, The Brewer'southward Art, and Oliver Breweries volition work together at Marriage to brew a High german fashion "fest-bier" using locally grown American hops.
Heavy Seas' Brewmaster, Christopher Leonard, who organized the collaboration, believes the exchange of ideas and techniques fosters camaraderie, cultivates local awareness, and tin can ultimately aid improve everyone'due south products.
A portion of the proceeds from the collaboration beer, to be named Stoop Sitter, will do good the Jake's Constabulary charity. This non-profit is working towards raising awareness virtually the dangers of all handheld cell telephone use while driving. This traditional Baltic Lager was washed with our proficient friends at The Brewers Art in Baltimore, and happened to be the start lager in their history.
Brewed during the snow storm on Presidents day, this rich dark lager incorporates a wonderfully malty base with a layer of chocolate of chocolate and roast, while a touch of oats gives it a hearty body.
A dark mahogany pour, with a finger of lite dark-brown cream on the pinnacle that lasts for a little while but leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. Cherry highlights polish through the beer every bit y'all hold it upward to the lite. Olfactory organ is filled with aromas of roasted malt, molasses, plum and just a hint of java.
The roast is not overpowering with hints of blackstrap molasses and just a little chip of coffee. The earthy hops allow for a supporting bitterness, while the hearty German Lager yeast finishes this beer off abrupt and cleanPerfect for the last toast of winter.
Keeping with the tradition of Russian Baltic Lagers, this is our tip of the hat to winters cease and the awakening of spring. Read Less
